    Our referral process is designed to be straightforward, responsive, and supportive of your clinical workflow.

    The Eye Health Centre run a collaborative care clinic model.

    Patients can be referred either directly to our doctors or to one of our clinical optometrists for triage, pre- or post-operative assessment or independent clinical management. All the optometrists working with doctors are highly trained in clinical assessment and management in accordance with The Eye Health Centre methods and protocols.

Yes—while we welcome referrals from GPs and optometrists, you’re also welcome to contact us directly for specialist advice or to book a consultation.

Our team covers a wide range of eye concerns, including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, corneal disease, dry eye, and eyelid issues. We also offer paediatric care.

Not necessarily. If unsure, simply send the referral and our team will ensure it’s directed to the most suitable specialist based on the condition.

Yes. If you’re a referring practitioner, you’ll receive consultation notes and follow-up reports. For patients, we provide clear communication every step of the way.
